Overview:
Assessment of hydration and nutritional status in clinical practice can be challenging and relies on a variety of assessments, the ability to accurately quantify total body water (TBW) and its distribution between intracellular (ICW) and extracellular (ECW) compartments represent an important advance in this regard.

Conclusion:
there was a good overall agreement between TBW assessments using the SF-BIA NICaS compared with the MFBIA BodyStat QuadScan 4000
